What is a Prerelease Event for Star Wars: Unlimited?

Taking place a week before the release of a new set. Prerelease events are a great opportunity to check out the new cards a bit early! This takes place the week before the new set’s official release date. Each of these events involves a sealed tournament, and they allow players to get ahold of cards from the new set early. With booster packs awarded just for participating and even more given out for the winners of each round of the tournament, the prerelease events are a fun, relaxed way to dive into a new set and try out what the new cards have to offer!   

What do you need for Star Wars: Unlimited Prerelease Event?

• No need to bring your own deck, since all deckbuilding happens on the spot with a PreRelease Box which contains booster packs, promo cards, a deck box and everything to get you started.
• English knowledge due to cards are in English

How does Prerelease Event work for Star Wars: Unlimited?

It goes very similar as the Sealed Play events.

At the beginning of a sealed play event, you will open six booster packs. You must use the cards within those packs to build a deck while adhering to the following rules:

Your deck must consist of exactly one leader, exactly one base, and a minimum 30-card draw deck. Your sideboard includes all of the other cards you opened from your packs.  

You can use any common base for your deck, even one that did not come from one of the booster packs you opened. You can only use a rare base if it was in one of the booster packs you opened.

Your draw deck can include any number of copies of the same card.  

Typically, the winner of a sealed play match is determined by best-of-three games in a 55-minute round.
